April 1st I took the oldest three kids to the dentist and was very happy to hear NO cavities from anyone! We of course came home and fooled daddy that we did have cavities since it was April fools day and all. :)
We began the month with a very very fun trip to Portland over our spring break. We stayed with Jason and Dawn. While there we took in an amusement park, OMSI and the Zoo. Pair all that with totally awesome cousin time and you have yourself a fabulous trip!

The middle of April Adam began baseball. This is the main culprit of the busyness. Practice once a week and games twice a week. Plus, as if I don't have enough to do I take on the "team mom" responsibility. The coach says, "oh it's not much, just a few things...go to this meeting about it". So I go to the meeting and come home with a page filled front and back with all the duties. nice! It has been fun though. It is very entertaining to watch. The first two games you hear the coach say things like " okay, when you hit the ball don't watch it, RUN to first base but DON'T forget to put down the bat".

practicing with uncle Alex
Our next weekend included our annual creekstone Easter egg hunt. Always so much fun.

We go from the easter egg hunt to a birthday party. from the birthday party to adam baseball game. See what I mean, busy. FUN busy, but BUSY!
This story is too cute not to share: Tyler puts the following note on his door and tells Grace it is her "STAY OUT OF MY ROOM SIGN".

in case the picture is not clear the sign reads "no girls allowed, only moms"-I feel so honored :)
She immediately starts to pout and then I see the wheels turning in her little head. here is her response!

yes, she took a kleenex and taped it to her door and told him that was "HIS stay out of HER room sign". LOVE IT! :)
A few cute pictures of Max, growing up so quickly. he is starting to stand without holding on to things and he walks very well behind a push toy. He is also waving bye bye. When he really likes you he gives you what I call the double arm wave with a big ol grin of course.

Okay, on to Easter! We went to clarkston and celebrated with Justin's parents. It was another great trip.

All Adam wanted for EASTER was his two front teeth...pulled OUT!
Here's the story behind this...these two front top teeth have been loose for MONTHS. His new adult teeth are half way in behind the baby teeth. The teeth were dangling there, you know how you can turn them 360 degrees? Well they were hurting him badly and getting infected. The silly things needed to come out! It had been months of trying to get them out so I pulled the best trick I know and bribed the kid. I told him if he got both of those teeth out that day I'd drive him to walmart and buy him a buzz lightyear. guess what?...he did it! :) "ah at last the drama is over"-his words not mine! :)

On monday since the kids didn't have school, we stayed in Clarkston and attended our Goddaugther Caroline's First Holy Communion and Confirmation. I was honored to be her sponsor.

What's left this month? Just a yard sale, birthday party and baseball game on saturday. and then BLOOMSDAY on Sunday. yes, I am running Bloomsday for the first time ever. I have been training hard for it. It is my last ditch effort to get this baby weight off. It helped get some off, yeah! Still have some to go, but perhaps the triathlon I am training for to do in August will help with the rest. What was I just saying about being busy...seriously am I just plain crazy!?! :)
