Pre School Graduation!

Adam graduated from Pre School today. It was a really neat ceremony. 52 graduates! Adam did great and as you can see from the pictures, he really enjoyed himself. He came a long way this year. I walked a very scared little boy there the first day and he took months to transition. By the end, he would literally run into to school without me even getting out of the van. He is so much braver and makes friends wherever he goes now. When they asked him what he wants to be when he grows up he said, "a paperboy". Everyone got a big kick out of that. His teachers tell me they think he will be a paper boy and much much more...he is very smart! :) What a great first experience he seemed to have with school. It's time for a fun summer then...on to KINDERGARTEN. I know Adam is ready, the question is, am I? Are you ever? :)

Adam and Zoe...perhaps friends forever, they will be in Kindergarten together this fall. They are very cute together, everyday when we pick them up from school they would beg us to take them out to lunch.

Memorial Day

We had a really nice 3 day weekend at home. As fun at it is to travel, we find it equally fun to stay home and just relax and have time to play with the kids. We get things accomplished around the house too, which is always nice. Our neighborhood pool opened this weekend so we spent some time there. That was great. Grace has NO fear around the water, which scares me! Tyler is a fish, you put his life jacket on him and he swims all around the pool the entire time. Adam is still very cautious but much better than last summer already.

Justin and I went for a jog. I was pushing Adam in one stroller, Justin pushed Tyler and Grace in our double jogger. I was ahead of them...shocking I know he had to stop and pick up Gracie shoe...and apparently Tyler learned a new song because he kept saying, "I see london, I see france, I see mommy's underpants!" (NO my underpants were not showing!). Justin said it was hysterical because he kept saying it and then he would say, "i see mom's butt". "why is mom ahead of daddy". Can't you just imagine the 20 questions! :)
My brother stopped through on their way from Boise and we had a BBQ. Cousin time is so fun. Well, the 4 older cousins were gearing up to watch a movie and Eliza (2 1/2) promptly sat right by Tyler. Tyler said to her, "Eliza, will you move I want to sit by my brother". Eliza replies, "but Tyler, I just want to sit by YOU". Tyler-"okay, will you keep me from getting scared". Eliza puts her arm around his shoulder and confidently says, "I WILL". :) How precious is that! :)

Gracie really enjoyed the mud...not sure if any of my flowers will survive this year!

The Blankie Returns!

We have a very happy little Tylerman this evening, he got his blankie back! He left it in Grandma and Grandpa's car over the weekend and has been without it since. They brought it to him today, what studly Grandparents he has! The first night without it went surprisingly well. Adam very sweetly offered to share one of his blankies and Tyler was happy with that. The next day he was very ready to have his blankie back! Mommy is equally happy blankie is home. Welcome home "Blue"(his blankie), "pooh" and "moo"(his two teddy bears)and Tyler missed you so!

Bloomsday 2009

Both Justin and I did Bloomsday this year. Justin ran in the corporate cup with some colleagues and I walked it with my sister-in-law Carisa. It was so much fun! My parents and my brother Joe watched the "big kids" at the hotel and swam while Carisa and I took the "baby's" and walked. The stroller division of Bloomsday is quite the experience! We did a lot of weaving around people. Grace and Vincent were such troopers for the entire thing! Not a peep out of either of them the entire time. It was great.

We also had a super fun day Saturday. We headed over to Spokane, took the kids swimming in the pool and then did some shopping at the Valley mall. Saturday evening we went out to dinner with Greg and Sara for Greg's b-day. That was an absolute blast. KayLynn(sara's sister) and David are just adorable and so fun to be with. We even saw them the next day in the stroller division at Bloomsday...go strollers! :)
