Milestones!!!!

Shall we start with Gracie! Well she stood up in the middle of the room today!! She will be 10 months old on Thursday! Doesn't she look proud? Adam started Pre School yesterday!!! Doesn't he look so grown up? I just CAN'T believe he starting school already! He seemed to really enjoy the first day!
Got to love the backpack with one, yes one folder in it...and that's it! :) Oh yea and in the bag...kleenex of course! Then their is our funny man, Mr. Tyler. Always good for a laugh. He was cracking me up today making faces.
this is his silly face
excited face!
mean face
scared face
and last but certainly not least....happy face! :)

Vacation Photos

We just got home from our annual vacation to the Oregon Coast. It was so much fun! The kids had a blast!

Ice Cream cones at Multanomah Falls!

Cousin time! Adam and Grant.

Sometimes this is the best picture you get with 6 grandkids under the age of 5!

The boys played on the beach everyday that the weather allowed. It made for hours of easy entertainment for them! Here are some pictures of them all enjoying time on the beach! Even Gracie liked it for a while and she suprisingly didn't eat the sand...unlike Mr. Tyler of course. I have NEVER seen anyone get more full of sand. He was literally covered from head to toe and even inside his mouth. Crazy kid!

Wedded Bliss

Happy Anniversary to us! 8 years, WOW. We share this great anniversary with our bestest of friends Greg and Sara. Sara and I met in nursing school and that was the first of many things that we found that we had in common...how often do you find someone who got married the exact same day as you? cool huh? We've been best friends ever since. It's been a really great 8 years. Time flies when you are having fun and with the one you love.

This past weekend we attended my cousin's wedding in Walla Walla. It brought back so many happy memories of our wedding. They are young high school sweethearts just like we were(and still are). When you marry as young as we did, I think you grow up together. You make mistakes together and learn about life together and that only brings you closer.

My family prepared the food for this wedding...375 guests were served and my Dad amazed me once again with his kitchen skills. The food was awesome. I helped but I can't take too much credit. I helped prepare the fruit trays and the meat trays and then I had the lucky job of serving the meatballs to ensure no one took 5 (and mind you people DID ask for 5!) so I was labeled "meatball Nazi". Oh well, someone had to do it and I did it with a smile so there. :) We decided that Justin had the hardest job of all...he chased all 3 kids while I helped in the kitchen...thank you to my sweetheart husband. I got a lot of compliments on him that day! :) Here are some pictures from the wedding!

Notice Grace's dress. This is the dress that I wore to my Uncle Greg and Aunt Sue's wedding 27 years ago and then Grace wore it to their son's wedding this past weekend. Isn't that COOL! :) Oh yea, and the dress was hand made by a friend of my Mom's...thank you mom for keeping it!

Here I am with my Mom and Miss Grace!
Justin and Adam having a great time!
and Mr. Tylerman
and we had to take advantage of the family photo op!

Here I am preparing cheese trays, my Grandma having a coffee Royale! :)

Another memorable weekend goes into the books!

Grace's 9 month Stats

Grace had her 9 month check up this morning. She checked out perfectly healthy. She weighs 20 lbs, 1 oz which is in the 75% and is 29 inches long which is the 90%. So she is on the big side, which is not at all shocking to me. She is following in her brother's foot steps for sure. She didn't have to get any immunizations this time so it was a very easy happy doctor visit. YEA! Next check up is at 1 year and she will need many shots so I was thrilled for a shot free visit. Her latest skill is standing alone momentarily...I am guessing a few steps may be in the near future. I laughed when they asked me if she could "get to a sitting position"...UM YEA does crawling into the dishwasher count? :) Her fear of strangers showed while the doctor attempted to do his exam and she made it very clear that she didn't like it! I forgot that they are uncooperative for these visits at this age. Honestly I think it's nice that she is leary of strangers...it's her constant need to be on my hip that I get a little tired of! :) Speaking of my sweet little girl, I hear her up from her nap, so I best sign off for now!
