Max is quickly approaching a year. I do not know where a year went, although I am pretty sure I haven't sat down since the little sweetheart was born! 4 kids is busy. He has taken his first steps and is very close to being a full time walker. I can't tell you how happy the little guy is. Sleeping wonderfully, napping wonderfully, eating wonderfully. He is by far my easiest child at the moment. Just HAPPY all the time. He is so much fun. Loves to clap and sing. He loves to be chased. He says hot and uh oh. He is just so content puttering around. His new favorite place to be is outside! He protests when I bring him inside.

Grace is our 3 year old and she acts it! She has many opinions and is often the center of the fight these days. I think she does an amazing job of handling her brothers and sticking up for herself. She continues to be super independent. At times a bit too independent (like when she tries to pick up Max) but for the most part that comes in handy big time. She loves to be read to and she loves to color. Her coloring has improved so much! She doesn't like to write her letters so for now we color! She is also very good at puzzles. Her and I crank out 100 piece puzzles all the time. She is very helpful and sweet...she's just 3 and likes to have her way! She makes me laugh daily! :)

here she is...making me laugh

daisy duke...did i mention she comes up with some crazy outfits some days!
Tyler had a big month. He had his kindergarten orientation where he got to go spend 1 1/2 hours in his new classroom with is kinder teacher. He really enjoyed that. He has many friends in class with him. He graduated from pre school and had his pre school field day. He had an amazingly positive pre school experience. I thank his teachers for that. They tell me he is the best reader they have ever seen for his age...makes me feel very proud of that guy. He loves to read, but his new found love is computer games. He doesn't seem to understand why his mom limits his time on there. Perhaps the fact that he can read well has something to do with limited screen time, I dunno!?! He is officially on summer break and I am excited to have him around more. He is a big help to me. He is also learning to ride his bike without training wheels. 5 is such a great age.

He insisted on wearing a tie.

here he is with his buddy Justin and his mom Janet who is also his teacher.

Enjoying field day!

Adam has about 8 more days of school. He finished baseball last week. He had a really great season. I can't tell you how much he and his team improved. It was fun to watch. He really enjoyed getting a trophy at the end of the season. We escaped the recent headlice out break at school. Adam was very afraid of getting that! Adam is a wonderful big brother and very helpful. I am worried about keeping him busy this summer, he likes to have "things to do". We will do swimming lessons, swim at the pool and both of the boys are playing soccer.

We attended the cougar baseball game when they came to town. that was a great time, although it was packed! 4,000 coug fans came out to support. It is fun to be part of that crimson crowd.
Justin and I are training for sprint triathlons. It is going really well and we are both really enjoying it. Justin's is in July, mine in August.
I think that about covers our May. It wasn't all that crazy of a month but it did pass by quickly. Seems to just be how life is these days.
