Happy Birthday Adam!

Happy Valentines Day!!!!

On Valentine's Day we celebrated Adam's birthday. Family came over and we had a great time. Our tradition is the birthday person gets to pick the theme of their party. They really look forward to this part, going to the party store to pick it all out...big deal! Adam chose Madagascar 2 the movie. Check out this incredibly awesome cake that Pauline made. She creates all the cakes for our birthdays and special events these days. She is spectacular!!

It was a great weekend. Justin's sister Laurie, her husband Steve and their daughteer Ann stayed over for a night and hung out with us. The couins had SO much fun playing together. It's too bad they live all the way in Denver so we don't get to see them all that often. If only the thought of my three kids on a plane didn't scare me so badly! :) HA!
Hope everyone else had a great weekend too!

Adam Turns 5 !!!!

Our little boy turned 5 today and what a day he had! It began with being woken up by his brother and sister and mom singing happy birthday (isn't that how you'd want to be woken on your b-day?:) followed by pancakes for breakfast. He brought cupcakes to school that he had beautifully decorated himself. When he walked into his classroom his teacher announced "the birthday boy's here!"(he really liked that part!) He got to wear the b-day crown and everyone sang to him during snack time and then he got to do the show and tell. After school it was lunch at McDonald's with some friends. For dinner Uncle Alex and Aunt Anna joined us at Chuck E Cheeses...WOW did he LOVE that place! All 3 kids had an absolute ball there! When we got home, we had 4 messages on our machine from all of our family wishing sweet Adam a happy birthday. What a truly wonderful day and he hasn't even had his birthday party yet...that will be Saturday!
I remember very well the day he was born! It was a long challenging labor. When he finally arrived I remember thinking how adorable he was. He really was a very beautiful newborn!! Ahhh...the memories, my how time flies by. Justin and I feel SO very blessed to have Adam. He is a remarkable little boy and we love him so very very much!
