Summer's HERE!

Summer is FINALLY here! We finally have some nice hot weather. Just in time to sit at soccer games and practices 3 nights a week! :) Adam and Tyler started soccer this month and it has been an absolute blast! They both have great coaches, kids on their teams that they know and are having a wonderful time learning all about soccer. I am learning lots myself. Had NO idea soccer had so many rules. Had NO idea you have to buy; cleats, shin guards AND soccer socks! Had NO idea how to actually wear the "soccer socks". Had to GOOGLE it to find out the correct way! :) LOL
After two weeks its already very apparent that Adam is a natural defender and Tyler is a natural goalie! Did I mention how much fun they are to watch!?! A few pictures.



oh yea and I was conned into being the "team mom" again. I know the coach and he called me and asked me to do it, what could I say? obviously I have not learned how to say no yet! :)








Max got his first hair cut. After my dear friend Erin took his 1 year pictures and I saw the poor kids mullet blowing in the wind in the pictures I decided it was time to cut the curls. gasp! it was painful to cut blond baby curls but I managed to just trim them up so he looked like a boy and still had a touch of curl. Max is a FULL time walker now. He stands up in the middle of the room with no problem at all. He will even stop bend over pick up a toy and keep going! He loves balls. He will be content for hours and I am not exaggerating at all if he is outside with a ball. He is SO good natured! He is getting molars and handling it fine. He still loves to eat. He is all done nursing. He said mama the other day but only once and never has again since!




I think I might freeze him at this stage if I could, he is so happy and cute right now!





Gracie is 3 and for sale most days! LOL. Just kidding...kind of. She's very opinionated these days. She will fly off the handle in a full on temper tantrum without any warning over the silliest things. (like I said, she's 3!) Today, it was because I told her she had to put clothes on. She got to choose ANYTHING she wanted to wear but she just had to be dressed. Well, that was asking too much today! She is a very good big sister and loves to help out with max. She helps me chase him at the soccer events. She got to be a very big girl on Saturday and go with my mom and I to get a pedicure. SO MUCH FUN! She loved it , I loved it. It was a very special day. She got hot pink with white polk a dots, it could not have been cuter. She is doing an amazing job up at the pool swimming! Thanks to our neighbor Jess she now swims all over the pool in her life jacket. I tried many times and so did Justin to get her to relax in it and just kick around the pool. Once she got in there with Jess and Isabelle and watched Isabelle do it, she tried it and did it! Now she's a little fish! That makes my life SO much easier!





We have spent many a days up at the pool and have also taken in a Dust Devil game. We are having a fabulous summer so far. We leave for the coast in a few short days. We can't wait!
