Baby Baerlocher number 4 is indeed on it's way.
We got to see he or she today for the first time. I am 12 weeks along and happy to be through the first 3 months. I had an appt today and they had trouble finding the heartbeat so we got to have an ultrasound, YIPPEE, that was so fun. We saw a strong heartbeat of 182 beats per minute and we even saw the baby put it's thumb in it's mouth! SERIOUSLY! :) Check out this picture. What a miracle. At 12 weeks there is a BABY in there! So precious. It was a great day.
I have all the normal symptoms like exhaustion and I have been nauseated for sure, but honestly this has been the easiest one so far. I am hoping the nausea will pass now that I am about out of the first trimester. We are so excited to finally tell people, it's hard to keep these secrets.
Funny story; I had this ultrasound picture in the van and when I went to pick up Tyler from school I told him I had a surprise for him in the van. He ran to the van and I showed him the picture and he said, "is this the surprise? I thought it would be something to eat!". Kids are so honest:)
So of course I have to mention that the Jones family and us are now in a competition. Not for number of children because I am thinking we will tie on that one but when will baby number 4 arrive? I am due June 3rd (although the ultrasound I had today said a due date of may 29th I don't know yet if my doc will officially change it or not). Sara's due date is June 13th so the race is on and let me just tell you right now I am totally going to lose. I go overdue every time and so I am convinced she will indeed have her baby long before me:) In case you didn't know we were married the EXACT same day as these guys how weird would it be if we had our 4th baby's on the same day? :):) FUN FUN FUN stuff.
Now for the final question? when is it TOO soon to wear maternity clothes because I seriously feel like I need them already? :) yikes.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! Oh my gosh, how exciting! Babies everywhere! :) I had a feeling this news going to be coming soon!
How fun that you and Sara are due within weeks of each other...I predict that Sara is going to have her baby first. I don't know why I think that, because her babies have never been in a big hurry either. Time will tell! :)
Any feelings yet of a boy or girl? I predict a girl. I think Gracie needs a sister. And there is NOTHING wrong with being in maternity clothes at 12 weeks. There is nothing wrong with being in maternity clothes at 10 weeks. Trust me. :) Get those clothes out girl...embrace it! Plus, it's so much more comfortable.

Yippee, the news is out! I for one though do not think I will deliver before you. Even if I got a day or two past my due date, which is VERY LIKELY, that will be 12 days after yours and I bet your doc won't let you go that long. Just don't rub it in too much when I'm in that LONG miserable last week.
Jen, that goes for you too. By the time our babies pop out you'll be in your groove, no more painful nipples, sitting comfortably, and sleeping through the night. (HAHAHAHAHA!)

Yeah! Beautiful ultrasound! Totally possible for you and Sara to deliver on the same day. I was due 2 weeks before Allison and we delivered on the same day. Too bad you guys don't live in the same city...it's actually sort of fun being in labor at the same time(at the same hospital) with one of your great friends. Did I just say fun and labor in the same sentence?
